Davies and Karabardak head GB team for Slovakia Open

World number one Rob Davies and fellow Welshman Paul Karabardak, gold medalist in last week’s Slovenia Open, head a team of seven members of the GB Para Table Tennis Team competing in the Slovakia Open in Bratislava starting tomorrow (May 13-16).

Davies, silver medalist in the men’s class 1 singles in Slovenia, once again faces tough competition including world champion Chang-Ho Lee and Slovenia gold medalist Young Dae Joo from Korea, while the opposition for Karabardak, currently ranked world number five in men’s class 6, includes the top four players in the world.
