The GB team made a good start to the team competition at the Slovenia Open today with Paul Karabardak and Martin Perry (men’s class 6), Will Bayley and Billy Shilton (men’s class 7) and Kim Daybell, Ashley Facey Thompson and Aaron McKibbin (men’s class 10) all progressing to the quarter finals.

Bayley and Shilton beat Japan 3-1, Daybell, Facey Thompson and McKibbin beat Mexico 3-1 and Karabardak and Perry beat a combined team from Korea and Japan 3-1 after Karabardak had given them the perfect start by fighting back from 0-2 down to beat world number three Hong Kyu Park 3-2.
