Background: Qualified as a physio from Sheffield Hallam University in 2003 and worked for the NHS and local sports teams in Leeds for four years. Spent two years working with Yorkshire men’s and England junior golf squads and in 2007 went to work for the EIS with able bodied table tennis and multi-sport athletes in boxing, diving, swimming, rugby, wheelchair basketball and wheelchair tennis. Took the lead role with the GB Para table tennis squad to specialise in Paralympic sport. “They are a great squad to work with and always provide a challenge when contending not only with sports injuries but disabilities as well.” Currently studying for an MSc in Sports Injury Rehabilitation in which her research is focused on Paralympic sport. In her spare time Jill enjoys yoga, salsa dancing and travelling.
