Playing career: Represented England from the age of 11-19 and trained at the National Table Tennis Centre in Nottingham; National Junior champion and Junior Masters champion twice.

Career highlights: As a player, winning the Junior National title in singles, doubles and mixed doubles in the same year as well as the top 12 Masters; as a coach, being part of the most successful GB Para table tennis squad at London 2012 and witnessing the class 3 women come back from 2-0 down to take the bronze medal in the team event.

Advice for aspiring TT players: Have a goal, work hard to achieve your goal, be committed and never give up even with setbacks because overcoming a setback is what will make you a champion.
